Maddie continues to surge in her quest to make the 2021 Tokyo Olympics with an emphatic swim at the Australian Virtual Short Course Championships at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre 28 Nov 2020. Maddie set the new World mark for the 400m Freestyle (S14) in a time of 4:35.56. To follow up her success, on the next day Maddie followed up with a new Australian record by winning the 200m Freestyle in 2:09.83. Today 3 of our girls competed at the 2020 Queensland State Open Water Championships in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, their first Open Water event ever. The girls swam absolutely brilliantly. Jasmine swam both the 5 kilometre and 2.5 kilometre with just a short break between events. A truely heroic achievement. Congratulations to everyone that competed at the 2020 Queensland Short Course Championships last weekend, St Hilda’s Aquatics Club produced some excellent results. Qld State Championships this Weekend is Essential Viewing

The 2020 Qld State Short Course Championships begin this Friday 25 th to 27 th September. St Hilda’s Aquatics are sending a team of 35 all primed and ready for racing. Personal Best times are expected to fall and there may be some Qld Medals won if everything goes well for some of our swimmers.
